I am offering for sale this very clean SCARCE Early Type Stanley BEDROCK Corrugated Plane No. 605-1/2 Type 3 -- FINE! INV#WA07I purchased this plane yesterday from a woodworker who is 83 years old. This was his fathers plane. It is the early version with round bedType 3.Planes made by Stanley 1899-1908. It has patent date of Apr 2, 1895. It\'sthe early version side bedwith an arched shape. Cap has the three-line logo.Backside of the cap there is \'5-1/2 & B.It has \"B\" casting in the frog and behind cap.Knob and tote are in very good condition, no cracks. The adjustable lever has horizontal \"STANLEY\" with Patent date 7.24.88.Plane body measures: 14-7/8\" L x 2-3/4\" W. Cutter has \"Stanley Sweetheart\" logo Made in USA.(Not original, replaced at some point). It measures 7-3/4 W x 2-1/4 W.Japanning on body is 90% intact, with some minor pitting (see photos). Sole and body are in very good condition.
