This is a Springfield trapdoor 45/70 rifle stock that has been converted to a carbine stock. It is 29 3/4\" long and for a wide receiver. It has been sanded in the past, maybe more than once. The cleaning rod groove has been filled with a wood section which looks good depending on how the light hits it. A sling ring and bar have been fitted. Has the barrel band spring.
