This is a superb lidded pitcher in the form of a maid holding a large open mouthed fish to her front, used as a spout,of which:

During our research we have been informed it certainly dates from the 19th century.

Dates about c1890s.

Underneath: Gesetzlich Geschutzt.

Of a German origin.

A large pitcher in the form of a maid in the wonderful dress attire.

Well coloured.

Intricate detailing.

Portrayed holding the large scaled fish with the open mouth which is used as a spout.

Lidded with the intricate detailed face of the maid, wearing the hat.

Large handle to the rear using the ties of the apron.

It has an overall height of about 11.25inches.

Has a max overall dia including handle of about 7.75inches.

Base dia of about 6inches.

Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition is excellent and is not subject to:

any major blemishes.
