I am selling absolutely mint condition Henri Selmer Paris Series 1922 - C Melody saxophone serial#778. This one is the first known Selmer C Melody Saxophone. Only 4 pieces of C Melody Series 1922 are observed. The earliest serial number in Selmer Paris museum is 983 (see the Henri Selmer Paris website). The very first saxophones manufactured by Selmer Paris carry the denomination \'Series 1922\' .The \'1922 Series\' is very short. Few of these models exist as they were very quickly replaced by the \'Model 22\'. Excellent original nickel plate. No signs of wear. Without dents or dings. All of the parts are original. The sax was complete restored - the pads are new. Amazing sound and intonation. Length - 69.5cm. Including original wooden mouthpiece - Henri Selmer Paris, original straps, case for reeds and hard case. Extraordinary ex. rare collectors item in museum quality. Made in France ca.1920-1922.
