I have available for you this Vintage Seth Thomas Catalin \"Bakelite\" Quality Alarm Clock Art Deco.

This little gem of a clock works with a pleasant sounding alarm.

It has been recently serviced by my professional clock repairman friend and works great!

The case is a solid piece of Catalin, which is a post-Bakelite early heavy resin plastic and was very popular in jewelry in the 1930s and 1940s. This particular piece was made in the USA. This piece is mostly black on the front but on the back and on the sides, there is some nice marbling of what I would say are reddish-brown swirls and lines.

It really is in great condition with its brass fitting and feet.

Of course, I need to point some very small imperfections on this vintage piece. On the white dial, a small scratch and a few specks of dust(?)on the inside of the glass crystal, but nothing that distracts from it. Thebrass on back has some tarnish that probably happened over time from oxidization and the felt on the bottom of the feet is a little worn. Please see my pictures.

Itis 3-5/8 inches tall, 4.5 inches long and 1.25 inch thickness.

It really would look great on your mantle, next to your bed, or on your dresser! Thanks for looking!
