Small white floral plate with a beautiful floral gold raised rim with beaded and gold encrusted moriage detailing. There is no makers mark but there are marked examples that have a very similar pattern marked Hand Painted, M w/wreath (Morimura Bros), Nippon produced 1911 - 1921. It appears to feature blue Daisy with yellow centers and Orange and Pink mums with some neutral browns and green leaves. You can bet this was part of a set for a condiment jar or round butter dish. It is not in the form of a tea cup plate. It could have possibly been a bread and butter plate but my impression is that there may have been another piece which was marked. Regardless, this is a fine antique plate with unique detailing. Well cared for no cracks, crazing, or chips. No knife swipes from use. 6 1/4\"
