This Was Found By A Man Doing A Construction Demolition Job In Montana Back In the Early 1970\'s, He Told Me He Brought It To A Local Reservation At The Time Which He Was Told It Was a U.S Indian Crow Scout Springfield Model 1877 Calvary Carbine. This Is An Authentic Model 1877 Carbine Stock, Only 4,000 Where Producedbetween1877 and 1878 Before The New Changes Where Made To Fit The Wider Breech In 1879-1886. U.S Indian Scouts Where Given Carbines To Use To Fight And Hunt With, Most Of the Indian Used Carbines That Are Found Have Been Modified With a Sling For Over The Shoulder Carrying And They Marked The Stocks With Various Markings Which This Stock Shows All Of This, Stock Was Found With The Model 1877 Extractor Tool Still Inside Butt And What You See in Pictures. I Have Twelve Pictures Of Stock. Stock is in Same Original Unaltered Condition Since I Got It. I did Nothing To It As far As Repair\'s Etc..
