You are offerding on an Antique Compass in great working order. Great Antique condition with great patina. Marked STAR BOSTON U.S.A. This appears to be an early compass with liquid and I\'m not sure if it is Marine or a Surveyor\'s compass. Great working condition. Original wooden box with dovetail joint construction and the top fastened by two latches.Measurements:
Wooden box: 5\" tall by 7.25\" square.
Compass measures 5\" across and an outer ring around that measures 6\" across.This was purchased from the \"Nippert\" estate sale and is fresh to the market. (At one time the Nipperts owned the Ohio Cincinnati Reds Baseball Team)
