In my opinion - this piece may classified as \"PATTERN\" as it never minted for circulation in year 1904, only start minted in year 1905 1/4 cent for circulation.This coin has been mishandled, caused some light pin scratchesand hairlines onboth side. Hence NGC gradedit as \"PROOF Details\". That\'s a two obvioustonedspots on reverse.Otherwise with red mirror surface lustre remaining on both side. This coin have neverturned upin any worldwell-knownsale house after 10 years,thus is may consider rare.
