Very Rare 1941 Gibson ES-300Hollowbody Electric Pre-War Beauty == Gibson shipped 194 ES-400\'s in 1940 and 1941before ending production at the start of WWII -- these had 3 different pickups with the first having the long slanted pickup, the second version with a metal covered P-90 type, and the third (and most desirable) equipped withthe early celluloid-cover P-90 -- so most likely fewer than 100 were made in this third configuration !! == Very Good Plus and All Original condition(except correct style later tailpiece, what I think is the original is included but it broke andis brazedsolid at hinge), some wear to finish particularly one area beside pickguard as shown, light scratches/small dings, no cracks, breaks, or repairs == Solid Spruce top, beautiful Flame/Quilt maple back and sides == Label inside \"L-7\", obviously these were developed from the L-7 == Serial number is 96877 == verylight fret wear, nice action, plays well == Both pots are slightly noisy when turned, I haven\'t tried to clean them== Includes original case in good condition with some duct tape repaired damage as shown and it is missing the original handle ==We ship worldwide; however, because of the value, we can only ship UPS Worldwide, and must obtain an export license -- I would estimate international shipping at $800 plus including full insurance; please inquire== Note: there are some flash artifacts in pictures, these are not flaws !! ==
