German made Ship\'s 8 Day Bell clock for Swift! Not sure of date, antique, over 50 years assumed.

Working, Swift and Anderson\'s 8 Day \'\'Swift Ship\'s Bell Clock\" . This was a special edition manufactured for Swift by the leading German manufacturer Yachtmaster.

Thisantique comes with the original key and instructional leaflet. It is colorfully written, and also states this piece...

\"The 24 hoursystem of time keepingcommonly used by the U.S Navy, Armed Services, and yachtmen.\" The instruction manual itself is a charming antique; next to the clock, I would frame it.
Wth descriptions like \"hey-dey\" on it, and other great historical facts about why it was built (to relieve the watchmen).
It is very detailed...maybe you can have your kids or grandkids keep watch Starboard, etc every two hours? Or be Tech savy and invest in this antique and only wind it every 8 days!

This 8 day bellclock was given to me by the original owner, it has the ship’s bell chimes,a charmer. Can not find Yachtmaster that is not a Rolex...must be name German company gave it for Swift.Feel free to send info on the old Boston Company that commissioned the German company as well, if you can.
This was quite the family heirloom in their Marine Family.
