This is an original printed production art page for The Marvel Poster Book #1 featuring the Amazing Spider-Man, published by Marvel Comics in January of 1991. This is a full-color production art page with printing on both sides of the page. It has printer color code bars going across the top, and features Todd McFarlane\'s classic Spidey vs. Doctor Octopus cover from Marvel Tales #224 on one side, and his vicious Sabretooth cover from Amazing Spiderman #324 on the other side! The piece measures approximately 8 1/2\" by 11 1/2\". Please note this is NOT a mass-produced print or lithograph. It is a production art page that is created during the production process for the comic, and used internally by the comic company. The piece is in very good condition, with some light edgewear, and a small ding out of the side (which is not visible in the picture, did not come out in the scan). The piece features 2 of the greatest McSpidey covers of Todd McFarlane\'s legendary career. MacFarlane first became well-known drawing Incredible Hulk, Amazing Spider-man, and Spiderman, before leaving Marvel Comics to co-found Image Comics, where he created the Spawn franchise. But among all the art he did throughout the years, there is little question that his Spiderman work is probably the most highly-regarded by fans. This is a very cool and rare comic collectible that you will hardly ever get a chance to see. A spectacular piece which would look fantastic framed and prominently displayed.
