This fine Stelzig knife would make an important addition to any U.S. or world militaria collection.This is not the knife usually associated with the Stelzig name--the better known Stelzig knife is a knuckle knife with a cast handle. But, it is stamped on the back of the sheath \'STELZIG SADDLERY CO. HOUSTON, TEXAS\'. This Stelzig stiletto knife has a 6 5/8\" blade. This knife measures 11\" overall.
Condition:
This WW2 Stelzig combat stiletto is in good condition. The stiletto blade has only carbon finish patina, and no pitting. The snap is broken on the keeper strap. The wood handle has two cracks--these cracks are stable, and have been there for decades. This knife could be carried into combat today.
