US WWII White Motor Company Canadian Contract M3A1 Scout Car WW2 NICE:
$25900.00

Up for your consideration is a very rare White Motor Company M3A1 Scout Car. Please keep in mind we are not military vehicle experts but we will describe what we have observed and are happy to answer any questions you may have! This Scout car has resided in a museum for the past several years. The Scout car has been previously restored. The exterior is finished in the grey / black pattern. There are a few scrapes and minor dings in the exterior but overall it is near excellent condition and appears to be historically correct. The interior has not had the level of restoration as the exterior but is still in good condition considering the age. All thegaugesappear to be present and all but one of the placards appear to be present. The interior is complete with the original Skate rail system and the car will be sold with one trolley that is shown as pictured. The web top is not fully attached but appears to be complete and in good condition.
The car runs and drives well and has been freshly serviced to bring it back to running condition. The Tires are decent with some slight cupping and weather checking. All hold air well. The motor runs strong and sounds good, it appears to have been rebuilt at the arsenal / by the militarybecause it has to engine tags. All armor plating appears to be original and is uncut. The black out lights work fine but we have not been able to get the headlights to come on. We are not sure if there is a problem or we do not correctly know how to turn them on, either way it should not be a major issue. Additionally we have noticed that some of the interior nobs (choke, vent, throttle) have beenswitchedand will need to be switched back to the proper location. The original vin plate is attached and lists the serial number as 269419 which matches the frame number. Our research indicates that this scout car was produced in Lot number 7 in 1943 and lines up as a Canadian Contract purchase. Overall this is a really great car that runs and drives and could be near flawless with a little time and effort. Don\'t forget it will fit in a standard size garage as well!!
This Scout car will be sold \"as is\" as a historical item and all sales are final. We will not assume any liability for use, misuse, ornegligentoperation of this military vehicle. Please check you local laws to make sure you can legally own this vehicle where your live!! A $1,000 NON REFUNDABLE deposit is due within 24 hours of the close of the sale.
