This vintage Shaw Walker index card file box measures 9\"L x 5.75\"W x 4.5\"H. It is in excellent used condition and complete with original slip decal label on the lid. The collapsing file holder mechanism inside appears to be made of copper or a copper alloy. The box has a decorative arched hinge located on the exterior, adding a touch of authentic Machine Age style. The box was originally used at the Polley Hotel of Center, Texas, and there are stamps from the hotel on the underside of the box.
