Guaranteed 100% Authentic Relics

Here is a very nice coral Newnan / Hillsborough from Florida that measures 2 13/16" in length. Point is very well made showing excellent quality workmanship and flaking. Piece also exhibits some great color and is made of coral where some of the striations can be seen in the piece. Great quality made point with super color and is very thin. This is one of those Newnans that are getting close to being along the lines of a Hillsborough, as Hillsboroughs are a form of a Newnan. Some may want to call this a Hillsborough at this point, especially due to the smaller base and very fine drooping ears. The very fine Newnans do exhibit these same traits though, and it can be a fine line at times between the two, as they are closely related basically. I feel its somewhat arguable as to whether it is a Newnan or Hillsborough, as most would probably call it a Hillsborough. In all honesty though, to me it still is clearly a Newnan form, but is just a much more highly refined one that starts to hold a lot of the Hillsborough traits. Hillsboroughs are usually worth more, and if I wanted to I'd just call it one as most would, but in my opinion it really isn't quite there yet. Many will honestly call it one, and I won't say they're wrong about it, as it does come down to some very close differences at times with higher quality and more refined Newnans.

I recently had an unexpected surgery on my right ankle for some things torn and am casted, and am unable to put weight on it or drive until the beginning of August at least. There is the chance of there being minor delays in shipping due to this, depending on when I can get to the post office, but normally under most circumstances I expect things to fall in my normal time frames as posted, but just wanted to give an FYI just in case so everyone is informed beforehand.

Payments are expected within 2 weeks of an items end. If someone wishes to wait for other items to end and try to combine more items together in one shipment, that is perfectly fine. Please just communicate that to me so I am aware of it. Please do not let more than a two week (14 day) period go by without making payment unless other arrangements are made with me in advance. If combining items in one shipment to save on shipping, please ensure one payment is also made for all the items and not individually. If individual payments are made, then I must ship them individually as well which will cost the buyer more on shipping.

Items will be well packaged and most will ship First Class Mail except for heavier/bulky items or combined purchases that end up weighing more where Priority Mail will be used. Please allow approximately 2 days for handling and preparing items to ship, but it will be done as quickly as possible so they arrive to you as quick as possible as well.

Terms of Sale:

I offer an unconditional 14 day return policy on all items I sell.

If however I ever make a mistake in a listing, like failing to properly show something or adequately describe anything, I will then also refund any return shipping as well. I do not feel there should be any expense for shipping if there was an error on my part. If an item is returned, it must be returned in the same condition as sent.

My father has been hunting relics since he was a young child and has been heavily involved ever since. I grew up around relics, hunting fields, cave digging, going to shows all over, etc. We are very well versed in many areas, and I just don't post things for sale if we are unsure of it. I may list reproductions at times, but they will be listed in the appropriate section and clearly identified as such without any mistake that they may be authentic. There are a lot of different authenticators out there, with very few being what I consider to be qualified. There are no true "Experts" out there as many like to call them, as nobody knows it all, and I have yet to come across anyone who has not made mistakes at some point in time. Some simply just know more than others, and may make by far fewer mistakes than others may. In any case, a buyer needs to be satisfied with their purchase and happy with an item regardless of what anyone else thinks or says.
