Up for sale is a VERY RARE American Brilliant period cut glass compote 6\" candy dish on pedestal handle. What makes it so rare are the handles on that have been added but even rarer still are in the pedestal their are bubbles in the center of the glass and then it also has been cut. This almost always caused the pedestal to break when it was blown but for some reason this one did not break. This totally remarkable dish is in excellent condition. Hawkes only marked about half of their pieces. We got it at an estate sale of a Hawkes Glass collector and believe it is probably Hawkes glass but since they left so many pieces on marked we have not proof of that. We have other American Brilliant piece along with other beautiful antiques from that sale and we do combine shipping.
