Up for sale here is an incredibly rare antique saddle made by B.T. Crump. Saddle is well worn as shown, but displays amazingly and would be a fantastic addition to a home bar, man cave or library. Leather still shines and will look better and better with a little more TLC. I am not an expert on saddles but I will describe it as best I can. It is 17 inches long and 16 inches wide. The leather is solid, if aged, with cracks in the seat as shown. Leather responded very well to first round of restoration. The straps are brittle, but solid. One is broken off but is present. The metal work is worn but very solid. Great patterns on the leather. If I had to estimate, I\'d say this saddle is from the late 1800\'s or early 1900\'s and would assume pre-1920. Crump was making saddles well before the Civil War, and the metal work on this one makes me think it\'s on the older side. \"Crump\" stamp visible on leather flap, no other brand markings. Underside is very worn as shown, but remaining cushioning isn\'t shedding and everything seems very solid. An incredible saddle that is just in need of the proper home. A truly beautiful piece of early Western saddlery and something you won\'t come across again anytime soon. Happy to take additional photographs and answer any questions as best I can.
