VICTORIAN ANTIQUE CAPELET BROWN WOOL W/LIGHTER BROWN DETAILS, BROWN SATIN RIBBON:

This is a \"one of a kind\" capelet from probably the Victorian or earlier era.
Came from an estate sale with some premium antique and vintage clothing.
Outer is probably a wool - brown with outstanding decorative details sewn on top.
Decoration is a lighter brown and beige.
Petals of the same material go around the neck with some dark brown satin ribbon bows sewn on.
Fastens in the front with old style hooks and eyes.
Capelet is a complete circle. Measures 19\" in length from the neck.
Lined with a bright peach silky lining that is in very poor condition.
Lining is coming unstitched in several places and has also worn through in places.
Can see the horsehair stiffening on the inside of the front.
Outer material is in good condition.
Neck petals are about 5.5\" tall.
