Vintage 1940\'s Gibson Soprano Ukulele UKE-1 w/Geib Case:

This is a vintage Gibson soprano ukulele. It is stamped UKE-1 on the inside and also stamped with the hyphenated factory order number 7051-34 which dates it back to 1943 according to the information you find online about Gibson\'s serial numbers. But I\'ve also been told the Gibson logo dates it back to the later 40\'s. It is in really nice shape for being 70+ years old. There are some crackles in the finish but no actual cracks. There are a few small dings so please look at all the pictures. I did not clean or polish it, I will leave that up to you. I photographed all the dings & finish crackles in the sun so you can see them. The neck is not cracked, it is a split in the finish. The case is a chipboard case by Geib of Chicago.
