I bought this lap steel from a music store here on almost a year ago and it has been sitting in my house ever since. I purchased a Gretsch gig bag for it and it fits perfectly. Here is the original posting description -
Description: Vintage 1940s Kalamazoo FKE Lap Steel Electric Hawaiian GuitarCondition: Very good overall. Various scratches, nicks, dings, dents, chips and weather checking. Bridge saddle has been replaced with a bone saddle hand made by our guitar tech. All other parts are original and in perfect working condition.Body: Solid mahogany guitar shaped body with top binding in translucent brown finish. Nickel tailpiece and control panel.Neck: Rounded mahogany square neck with rosewood fingerboard, white screen printed frets and inlays and a 2 1/16” metal nut. Three-on-a-strip nickel tuners with ebanoid buttons, 22.5” scale length.Pickups/Electronics: Original single coil pickup with master volume and tone controls.Playability/Sound: The single coil pickup combined with the mahogany body produces a rich tone with plenty of body. The sound can be dialed in to be bright with plenty of attack or mellow and warm.
