Premier Twin 8 Guitar/ Harp Tube Amp

Up for sale is a early and rare vintage Premier Twin 8 amp with the \"widow peak\" front. This is a really nice andvery sought after Harp/guitar amp that sounds amazing! I believe this ampto be a 1959 model, it has the really cool gold \"foil\"grill with only one small indentation on it, the speakers sound great and break up just like you want from a small 5w vintage amp. The jewel light sometimes is intermittent but does work, all inputs work like they should, compartment in back has a vintage \"switch craft\" coil guitar cable that works great. Selling for a friend please ask if you have any questions.

Update: After several questions on the amp I have opened the back with the owners consent to check out the speakers and wiring. Also play tested once again and the results are that the tremolo knob seems to be more of a master volume for the amp with the Volume knob acting as the preamp volume. The tone knob functions properly, I\'m not sure if there was a mod done at one time to covert the tremolo to a master volume but that is what it is acting as presently. Again this amp is dripping with tone and has a tube complement of a single 6L6GC power tube, one 6X4 rectifier tube and two 12AX7 preamp tubes.

Speaker manufacturing codeappear to be from the \"Best\"speaker manufacturing company. Im not sure if the \"88 57\" indicates a 1957 date code or not. Please ask if you have any questions, make an offer and I\'ll run it by the owners. Thank you.
