Vintage 1960\'s Westinghouse CocaCola Vending Machine Transistor AM/FM Radio RARE:
$199.99

This sale is for an original VINTAGE AM/FM transistor radio made by Westinghouse in the shape and styling of a soda vending machine. I could not find a year of manufacture on it, but it has a label inside showing \"Westinghouse Model H419PN9\" and \"Westinghouse Electric Corp Television-Radio Division Metuchen, N.J.\"I believe it\'s from the early 1960\'s and it is a near exact replica of an actual Westinghouse soda machine. (as seen in last photo!)
This item appears to be quite rare. Please read the entire description and see all photos beforeofferding, as this item is many years old and then was stored for many years (without a battery). Also, please bear in mind that the lighting and color in the photos may vary from my camera flash. Note: the small words \"things go\" on both sides of the radio are hard to see in the photos due to flash glare, but are full and readable in reality. The back and sides of the radio are in very good condition. the front label applique is worn and peeling on the corners, which maybe can be repaired or replaced. There is some rust on the bottom front grill work. The label with the soda selection buttons looks very good. The inside mechanism also looks very good. The dimensions are approximately 8\" tall by 2.5\" wide by 2.5\" deep. The radio does work for both AM and FM when I tested it with a 9-volt battery. However, the on/off turning dial wheel is somewhat recessed and hard to turn when the case is closed. The tuning dial wheel works well, and stations do come in well, but there is a lot of static noise between finding stations settings. The telescoping antenna works, but if extended too forcefully, the top section comes out. It can be easily reinserted. Overall, this is a nice vintage radio. There may be some minor surface scratches or scuffs. I have tried to list all usage and cosmetic issues I could find. It does not come with the battery enclosed. If you are interested, I have vintage costume jewelry and doll sales also currently listed on .U.S. buyers only. No returns. Payment due within 3 days of winning offer.Thank you for your interest in my sale!
