- Made from 1962-1964.
- Guitar is 100% original !! Unmessed with.
- A rare and highly desirable Vintage Guitar, the Ferrari of Japanese vintage
- Keeps the rare original TEISCO decal- emblem.
- Has a round metal badge on the headstock-rear says \" ELECTRIC GUITAR MODEL / SSL4 / JAPAN\".
- Inside the control cavity the guitar is marked \"12 -58\". Could this could be a 1958 Guitar ???
- A rare model to feature FOUR legendary GOLD FOIL PICKUPS..
- This guitar was made famous by Ry Cooder & Hound Dog Taylor.
- Comes in its original sunburst-finish, has some dings and scratches as to expect from an used 55 years guitar.
- The neck is screwed & glued to the body.
- There is an old crack in the headstock that was fixed a long time ago. Look at pics.
- Tremolo arm is missing.
- Guitar sounds AMAZING.
- You might want to check the electronics, as the VOLUME-wheel works sort of irregular. Maybe it only needs cleaning.
- The Neck- Goldfoil pickup does not sound. I did not have it checked, i leave that to the new owner
