Vintage 1970\'s Gitane Grand Sport Deluxe women\'s road bike frame. Handmade in France. Frame size is 60cm/23\" from center of bottom bracket to the top of the seat tube.The frame is straight and solid. The paint on this frame is quite faded and scratched (see pictures). There are surface rust spots on the frame but nothing that can\'t easily be fixed. Decals are shot but new ones can probably be found online if the buyer wants to go that route. The frame will come with the complete bottom bracket and axle, the fork and complete headset. Will also come with the stem, handlebars, original grips and Mafac plastic brake levers. The frame was built with a kick stand mounting plate so I will throw in the kickstand that came with the bike. I acquired this as a complete bike. Normally I hate to part out a classic, especially one this nice, but the bike was crudely put together and it had a lot of unoriginal parts. I would love to restore the bike myself but I don\'t have the time or budget to work on another bike right now. Hopefully someone can build a really nice bike with this frame!
