Up forSale is aVintage 1973 Guild Jetstar II Bass!Rare Long 34\" Scale!This is really cool. You are looking at a Vintage 1973 Guild Jetstar II Bass. This is a very rare 34\" long Scale bass.Made in theWesterly Rhode Island, USA factory. This is the \"Real Deal\" Pro Level Bass. Available from 1967 to 1977, this was the alternative to the Gibson SGBass. The JS-11 has 2 guild Humbucker pickups that are very responsive and get nearly any tone you need out of them. Guild actually sold them as an upgrade to basses made before 1973.***Neck Repair***
Over 30 years ago this bass had a cracked neck that was professionally repaired. Our luthier examined the crack and determined that it was done right. (See picture #12).Solid and tight, there are no issues at all with the repair and the bass stays in tune. The crack extends from the top of the nut to the third fret at the skunkline. This is not a high stress area. The former owner purchased this Guild brand New and still has been using it in hisband all this time.This Bass Plays and Sound AWESOME! The neck s a medium\"C\" shape thathas a great \"Feel\" to it. This is a super-duper rare bass. Very few of the Long scale models were ever built. Our luthier did a complete setup. Brand new strings were installed.Gig ready on Arrival!

Keep in mind that this is a 44 year oldBass that has been played. There are scratches, scuffs, chips, dings and dents on both sides of the body. Really, this is just normal wear and tear for a 44 year old bass. The wear is what gives this JS-2 it\'s charm. Very Authentic.Dripping with \"Mojo\" It is used. Not perfect. Look at the pictures closely. They will tell the story.
