VINTAGE 70\'s,Toshiba SA-420, STEREO RECEIVER:
$58.00

You are offerding on a good condition Toshiba SA 420 Stereo Receiver. All buttons and lights work as designed. This receiver is 70\'s vintage and has a wood cabinet. Wood side on left has a few chips in it. You get what you see in the pictures. This receiver is very strong offering old school watts. The power switch is in the back to prevent accidental power off. This is a circuit mod.
It runs usually on the volume select 3 button. FROM WEB:

The Toshiba SA-420 is listed in the 1977Stereo Review Buyers Guide. And I also found a review of it in anearly 1978 Stereo/Hi Fi Equipment Buying Guide. The Toshiba Line wentfrom the SA-220 (at a whopping 7, yes 7 Watts per channel) to theSA-620 at 50W. The midrange SA-420 is 25W at $249.95.Thereview basically goes through the usual controls on the receiver, nothing special mentioned. Overall from whats written, its a decentmodel that provides adequate performance.
I can verify they weren\'t in the product Line in \'79-as I checked- there were other SA models by then. I didn\'t check on73- but that sounds a bit early to me. Most receivers and audioproducts are in a Product Line for 2 years give or take. Hope the info Iprovided has been helpful to you, B/F.
