I can\'t find a maker name on this, but my aunt tells me it was made during the War, when no metal was available for luxury goods.
This is a full size BABY stroller/walker - not a doll sized item - but it would be a cute display for a favorite life size baby doll!This is in excellent shape - although it is a bit dirty from being in a barn. I\'m afraid to scrub it myself, I just know that I\'d ruin the paint. Hopefully, some collector will be happy that I didn\'t take an SOS pad and a bottle of 409 to it! The piece is in really fantastic shape, no splitting of the wood or cracks or impending rickity-ness visible. The one flaw (other than the patina of vintage dirt, possibly good for carbon dating!) is that the \"shelf\" that keeps baby\'s feet off of the ground when you are in \"stroller\" mode, is missing the dowel that holds it in place. I am including a replacement, but it is by no means original or even from an item like this.
Item may be picked up (instead of shipped) from Floresville Texas (about 30 miles south of San Antonio). Buyer needs to have figured out pickup details before purchase, and remove the item within 7 calendar days of sale close.
