I am offering this beautiful vintage piece of Tibbets hand painted toleware, it is done in the style of Peter Ompir. This is an old Hood milk can wonderfully decorated with strawberries, grapes, peaches, and pears. The piece is 14\" tall by 8\" at the base. The toleware is in good condition with no scratches or chips. There is a small amount of paint loss on top rim where brass cap was attached at one time.The milk can once was a lamp, there is a hole drilled in the bottom edge of can and I also have the original brass cap if you wanted to turn it into a lamp, we enjoyed it as a milk jug.
