VINTAGE BOWIE HUNTER KNIFE #76S STAG HANDLE AND LEATHER SHEATH. This listing is for a vintage BOWIE knife that comes with its original 2 color leather sheath. The sheath has a brown body with green leather tip, collar and belt loop with brown snap tab. The loop is marked MADE IN GERMANY; measures approx. 10” long and is in very good condition usable condition (stitching intact, some wear to leather as seen in photos). The knife has a stag handle with a curved pointed tip blade; marked BOWIE on one side with the number 76S near hilt. The opposite side is marked: F. A. Bower Imp. Co., SOLINGEN MADE IN GERMANY. The knife blade is in “as found” condition, it has been sharpened by a stone or file and needs to be resurfaced and polished—see photos. The piece measures approx. 10-1/4” long (stag handle is 4” and the blade is 6-1/4”). When item is packed SECURELY for shipping, it weighs 1 pound.
