It\'s hard to capture the actual color of this wonderful vintage \"popcorn\" chenille bedspread. It is a true AQUA color which is VERY HARD TO FIND. The first photo captures the color most accurately.
This spread is VGUC--in VERY GOOD Used Condition. It has been laundered many times but has retained its vivid aqua hue. The \"popcorn\" knots are all intact as is the fringe trim. The only issue I see is a small hole on the lower left portion of the spread right next to one of the popcorn knots. It measures about 1/2 inch by 1/4 inch and could very easily be stitched closed and disguised within the knot.
The spread measures 96 inches wide and 108 inches long. The fringe measures 3 inches long. It was photographed on an elevated full-size bed with a bed skit underneath it and as you can see, there is considerable overhang. The lower left- and right-hand corners are rounded. The top left and right corners are \"hard\" corners and the top border has no fringe.
I believe this may be a Bates spread but the tag has been removed.
