This set isover 40 years old. The chess pieces arein excellent condition, and the set is complete with all 32 pieces. The set along with the folding board fit intoa wooden box, that takes up minimal space and is ideal for traveling. The king is 2 ½ inches high, the box is 11 ½inches x 5 ¼ inches, and the board is 10 ¼ inches x 10 ¾ inches.

Alsoincluded is a set of checkers which are also in excellent condition; however,one of the black checkers is missing.

The box itself has some wear, and the top and bottom sections haveseparated as the hinges have pulled off of the top box section; however, thisshould be repairable. Other than thatthe box is sturdy and is in good shape.
