Hello and Welcome toDooDLe\'Sdelights wheresouls are light as a feather! Today\'s featured item from this enchanted land is a Vintage DAM Troll doll, 2-1/2 & \"Summer Lightening, Bolts From The Blue!\".
Some calamities - the 1929 Stock Market Crash, Pearl Harbor, 911, - have come like summer lightening, bolts from the blue. Herbert Hoover was President,Makin\' Whoopee by Eddie Cantor was the #1 song, The 1st Academy Awards were held, and a Thanksgiving meal for 4 cost only $7.89. And... my dad was born, the first grandchild in a large Irish & Native American family. The ladies competed to make the most desirable layette for his arrival and 97 years later their handiwork lives on in the making of the featured ensemble.
The \"it girl\" Vintage Dam Troll Doll, 2-1/2\", is a \"baby vamp\", the \"cat\'s meow\", \"the monkey\'s eyebrows\" (all terms for a popular & pretty girl), an all around real doll! She is in \"ducky,ducky\" (very,very good) condition and is not a \"face stretcher\" (a woman trying to look young) even though she is a \"rock of ages\" (a woman over 30) pushing past 50+ she is a \"hotsy totsy\" (a real pleaser). She has a peaches & cream complexion, with a \"peppy\" (vigorous) expression, and a \"nifty\" (great) smile. This wee sweet dame \"was on the trolley\" (knew what she was doing) when she went to the \"hen coup\" (beauty parlor) and got her \"spiffy\" (elegant appearance) on. She has mounds of flowing long, longer, longest, (12+ inches) Natural Golden Honey Blonde Teeswater locks and NEW softly lit Amber glass eyes, both will leaving you shouting \"Nerts!\" (I am amazed). Please see photo #12 as it appears to be a slight manufacturer\'s flaw.
The 3-piece \"glad rags\" (Sunday\'s best) is created entirely from a soft & breathable White Cotton layette gown (1929) in excellent condition with no tears or stains & hand crochet lace. The Vintage dress has the original dainty White-on-White hand embroidery work and intricate, elegant, & beautiful Irish Crochet lace at the bodice & on the sleeves, as created by my Grandmother, Beulah Pearl. I added a Creamy Off-White Irish Crochet lace created by my Aunt Myrtle, ruffled it and hand stitched it to the hem of the dress (snap enclosure in back). A simple White petite pearl choker & White hair ribbon accompanies this heirloom. ***All of DooDLe\'S creations are myown. I use no pattern and create only one of each ensemble ensuring you & your darling Troll a unique & serendipitous happy chance!

Being a communist country without U.S. mail reciprocation & very limited & antiquated internet services, I had to offer the buyer the choice to pay within a specified time frame (4 days) or wait for shipment until my return home. The buyer did not respond and made required payment during my absence, then choosing to leave negative response when I did not ship her item.
