This listing is for a Fender Super 400 8 string pedal steel. The case is brown tolex, which would make this a late 50\'s or early 60\'s model. The serial # is 01163. Just a friendly reminder that old vintage steel guitars don\'t play in tune strongly, but they make for a cool Americana vibe and play and perform great!

All the electronics work great.The tone is awesome.Pedals are included, but need to be put back on.I\'m not a pedal steel player but as far as I cantell the instrument works great. I have recorded with it several times and it has always worked well for that. Someone painted the top black and covered the sides with thin vinyl contact paper which comes off easily, but I will let the buyer remove it. The case is in good shape.

Be aware that the shipping cost will be high for a few reasons. The guitar and case are heavy (about 65 lbs), the case is rather large and requires a big box in order to ship safely, and insurance is more costly than normal because of the value of the guitar.
