This is a completely rebuilt Fisher 460A stereo amplifier. Very nice condition. All capacitors were replaced including the restuffing of the multi-section can capacitors. Any out of tolerance resistors were replaced. The amplifier is set upfor stand alone use. An on/off switch was installed where the changer\'s power plug was so no holes were drilled in the chassis. Original Fisher cord.The amplifier uses 4 EL84/6BQ5 tubes for output and has 4vintage, closelymatched NOS tubes. The 7247 drivers are Fisher labeled Mullard tubes. The sound is wonderful, rich bassand that sweet/smooth quality that EL84\'s amplifiersare known for. Usingefficient speakers I didn\'t need to ever get over 1/4 volume on the preamp. This is a plug and play amplifier and is very quiet at idle.
