I put a new 9V battery in itand voila, it works. I could only find one good AM station and it came inclearer if I held the radio in the right direction. The radio is a small 2 ¼ x 4”hand held type. It has a solid-state design, volume control, and battery savingcircuit. It has dings on the top and the plastic removable back where thebattery goes does not like to stay clipped in. The earbuds works fine.
