ThisHammer head is mounted on a custom handle, made from a kiln dried White Ash piece of lumber on my \"state of the art\" 2014 - SOUTH BEND lathe. Very strong thing, with excellent feel in your hand ... Super strong wood with nice grain......This hammer isexactly3 lb 2 oz. total weight(says my digital scale :).Top to bottom just slightlyover 15 inches long.Excellent feel of the sweet spot on the handle.Face is polished so smooth that it looks like as if it is melting...I do combine shipping whenever possible, shipping quoted in sale is intended for the lower 48 United States only.
