For sale is a beautiful Vintage Ludwig White Marine Pearl 12x17 marching tom (yes, the head size is 17-inches). Finish is super nice, consistent color all around. Six-digit serial number on keystone badge. Long Mach lugs have some minor scrapes at the ends (probably from being set on its side). All chrome is good. Rims are very clean, a bit of surface rust here and there but nothing major. Front head has an applied Ludwig logo - letters are all individual pieces, not one big decal - so it may have been done by hand (??) but looks perfect. Second head is a Ludwig Striders silver dot head. 3-ply shell w/reinforcing rings. Inside is plain wood, very clean. Black date stamp is OCT 31 1968 (Made on Halloween!). Muffler and knob in great shape. There are two factory holes for a leg rest which was removed. Overall an excellent example of this rare Ludwig drum. Will make an excellent jazz kick, or just display it.Included with the drum are two unused 17-inch clear Ludwig WeatherMaster Batter heads - very hard to find. Nice to have spares if you plan to play this drum. Also included is a 17-inch hoop with most of the head cut away. Can\'t really be mounted on the drum as is, but if you want to make yourself a new calfskin head (or use fabric for a front kick-drum head) you can do that.
