I purchased this doll at least ten years ago. She is a 17\" hard plastic Maggie doll made by Madame Alexander sometime between 1949 and 1953. Judging by the style of her wig, I believe she was a Rosamund Bridesmaid doll, but her dress was long gone by the time I acquired her.Maggie is a nice, clean doll. Even her wig is soft, clean, and full. She does not have any bad odors. He walking mechanism works perfectly, and she can stand on her own and hold a pose. Her sleep eyes open and close just as they should.I don\'t think she is all original. Her face paint looks like it has been touched up over the years, so I am selling her as is at a reduced price.Maggie is still a really cute doll with no major problems, and she would look a lot better if she were all dressed up. So I am sending her off to a new home where hopefully someone will have time to find or make a nice dress for her.
