Description This is an 11\" Seminole Indian doll made of the traditional palmetto fiber found in Florida where these dolls were available totourists. This doll dates to somewhere between 1930 - 1950 based on her yarn hair.She is in very good condition aside from some soil spots and pin hole on her dress. She has the following features:- has palmetto fiber head and body, no arms- stitched eyes and mouth- sewn on palmetto nose- sewn on black yarn hair- colorful bead necklace adorns her neck- wears colorful two piece costume with some loose stitching at back neckline seam. Front neckline has unfinished hem as shown. There are some brown stains/soiling on the top tier of her dress and a tiny pin hole at the back.This vintage Native American Seminole Indian doll is ready fora special place in your collection.
