Vintage Pale Pink Swing Coat w Flower for 20\" Mme Alexander Cissy Tagged, c 1956:

For your consideration: a swing coat in a luscious shade of pale pink made by Madame Alexander for the 20\" Cissy doll, vintage 1956-7. Features of the coat:
  • \"Cissy\" tagged (photo 5)
  • Swing style gabardine coat with flower decoration at the snap closure
  • Fully lined
  • Round collar
  • Raglan sleeves
  • Cuffs with notch detail on both sleeves (photo 3)
  • Pockets in the front seams (photos 7-8-9)
Overall, the coat is in very good condition for being almost 60 years old - no rips, tears, holes. It has a pale stain on the right front panel (left side of the photos) which I tried to capture in the photos (see photos 7-8 for close-ups). I do not know what the stain is or whether it will come out, but it is not very prominent and, depending on the light, does not always show.

The coat has never been laundered and so would benefit from some type of cleaning or refreshing. Pressing would also be in order.

It has been stored in acid free tissue and box.
