Good Day! Up for sale, from my relatives estate, is a Vintage Regency TR 1 Transistor Radio. Made in the mid 1950s, this radio was used in the garage most all of its life to listen to the ball games. I imaginethat the garage is where this radio got most of its wear. Please look at the pictures to get an idea of where the scuffing,letterrub off, chips, and the hairline crack are. I could not test the radio. I never saw the kind of battery that would fit this model! The gold tuning dial moves smoothly. The on/off wheel isa little stiff, but moves good.The inside of the case looks clean andseems tohave all of its original parts. All the labels are fairly clean and readable. All in all, this radioseems to be a groundbreaking,iconic piece of electronics thatnever made it to the landfill! I hope someone may either collect this kind of radio, or will be able to use it for parts. Therefore I am selling it \"as is\".
