Vintage STEAMER TRUNK W. W. WINSHIP crate RMS Adriatic White Star Line 1907:

Selling a vintage antique rustic trunk that I purchased as a project myself but have no place and time working on it.

The inside of the lid shows that the trunk was made by W. W. Winship in Boston.

This trunk is in good shape but shows its age of more than 100 years. Needs proper cleaning and some work to bring it back tonits former glory. It’s all there. The lock is missing on the front. I didn’t dare to start working on it because I wanted to keep those wonderful travel stickers.

It still wears a lot of its original travel stickers. You can tell this trunk was a first class baggage on White Star Line’s RMS Adriatic on October 23rd in 1907!! Most likely departing from NYC.

“The RMS Adriatic was an ocean liner of the White Star Line under the command of Captain Edward Smith from 1907 until February 1911. In 1912 Captain Edward Smith commanded the RMS Titanic on her first and last voyage.”

Other travel stickers show destinations in Europe like Munich, Innsbruck, Nice and Paris.

As I have no possibility to wrap this trunk I’d like to sell it as local pickup only.
