We picked this up at an sale of an estate of a couple that lived in NYC. Everything in this estate sale was of high quality & this table is an example.

Look closely at the pictures. The table was made using dove tail joints & then glued together. The top/base is solid & carries most of the weight. The legs are pretty hefty too, 9" circumference each.

The Shepherd Profile casters give us an idea that the table was made post 1950 as they have been in business since the 60's. We would guess between 1960-1980.

We have left the item as is. Any decision to refinish or not is up to the buyer. It would definately be very easy to sand off the current finish & then stain or oil it.

Its a very cool piece & could be used in the kitchen, dinning room, family room, basement, or workshop. Anywhere a table is needed. Casters work great & it rolls really easy on hard surfaces & pretty good on low shag carpets.
