vintage motor pacing bicycle, very nice frame, i believe to be french but unsure, it was purchased in france. age unknown but my guess would be late 30s to mid 40s. it has special on top and bottom of head tube. nice bsa pedals, very large chain ring has some pitting. the bike has scratches, scuffs and some paint and chrome loss. the wheels are metal with covering to hold the tires on, which are no longer present...the tires that is. the wrapping gives the look of wood but these are metal rims. both rims are warped and very out of true, esp the rear. the tape on the bars is in tatters with several pieces on each side. there are screws missing on the drive side crank arm.these stayer frames are a very interesting part of cycling history which is mostly in memories.this is a killer display bike or with a little work the velodrome. the stands are not included. shipping is 90 dollars to the 48 states only, sorry no overseas shipping
