This nicelittle thimble tests 800/1000 pure silver.Theapplied band hasa filigree design and is set with 6 oval cabochon turquoises. The tophas the 8 pointed star design used by the Gabler Co.
The conditionis excellent with no holes, dents or wear and it\'s gilded inside. Allof the stones are there and intact.It\'s about an American size 8/9 (15.25 mm diameter opening). Thesethimbles were made in Germany forthe Italian market (see AHistory of Thimblesby Edwin Holmes, p. 121).
