To begin, I want to make mention that this vintage wall clock is \"not\" a cuckoo clock. Often times due to the physical appearance these types of clocks are often mistaken for a cuckoo clock.
This adorable novelty clock is only a time piece, it keeps time but does not cuckoo.
It is made in West Germany. The brass Movement is marked Henry Coehler Inc. along with \"No Jewels,unadjusted, West Germany\".The movement was cleaned, oiled and adjusted.Front of dial is marked Made in Germany.
The wood case is designed to appear as an A Frame style Swiss Chalet. It is a colorful little hand painted clock. The paint is in very good condition overall with some crazing and/or flaking to various sections of the designs.I do not note any physical damage to the case or the decorative ornamentations on the clock.I honestly can say, that it can use a little cleaning, in those nooks and crannies...so to speak. Otherwise, it is a happy little running clock:)!
Included with the clock is one pine cone weight as well as a pendulum.
By the way, these small clocks make excellent Holiday presents:)!
