Theblue tin is slightly rusty and worn, but the lid still snaps closed easily.
The brush is gone. The colors have been used but have plenty of paint left.
The color names are
Stop whiteLittle boy blue kid brown lacey aqua dolly mauve quicksilver
The tin measures 2 x 8.5 inches
This was actually owned by me & it would have been in
between 1965-1967
The British invasion had just hit the USA
& all the young girls wanting to look mod had to copy the London Look
Yardley, whose phrase was “The London Look” (sound Rimmarkably familiar…?!), had trendy British model Jean Shrimpton as its poster girl featuring in magazine adverts and commercials during the mid sixties. Yardley produced a popular range of colours and products.
The mod look peaked between early 1964 and mid-1967. During this time, youth-orientated television shows, magazines and films united young people all around the world.
