The Original Owner restored his childhood bike after it sat 25 years in his sister\'s Eastern Oregon barn. As a child, he once installed a speedometer and got it up to 40 MPH on a Pendleton, Oregon down hill thrill ride! No high speed down hill rides have been attempted after being restored!
The owner very shortly after buying the bike had the selling store upgrade the rear gear sprocket to a bigger one, making it easier to pedal up big hills for his newspaper delivery job.
Since the late 80\'s restoration, it has spent some time in parades and the rest safely stored in the owner\'s home, waiting for a new owner to enjoy!
