Piece of fabric recovered from a Civil War era quilt.

The one shown is sold but this one is the same.

Brown with lighter color geometrical design. Color is not as dark as the pictures...more faded and antique looking. The bottom of the design was probably a pink or purple when new.

Measures about 2 yards and 15 inches long and is about 7.5 inches wide.

Has needle holes and some old threads. Could have an unraveling nick. I could have missed some flaw.

The fabric does not pull apart with a light tug but is thin from use so would suggest gentle use such as doll clothes and could be used in antique quilt restoration.
